Welcome to St Johns Surgery

We are confident that our website will provide clear and concise help and give our patients the information they require in an easy and convenient format. It has been designed with the patient’s needs at the forefront of everything, from checking surgery times to letting us know what you think of us.

Serving You

Welcome to our Practice, which serves the population of Kempston and the surrounding area, currently 5800 registered patients.

We are committed to providing a friendly and approachable service, offering a high standard of Primary Care services, tailored to the needs and choices of individuals, their families and carers. We aim to provide this care for our patients, within a bond of trust and mutual respect.

Our dedicated team are here to treat those minor ailments that occur as well as providing specialist management of long-term conditions and clinics covering a wide range of healthcare issues. The technology also means you can now do a lot of things from the comfort of your home such as order a repeat prescription or cancel an appointment.

Partners in Care

Once registered, patients and healthcare professionals work together to ensure the most appropriate care is provided. This partnership philosophy extends even further and our active patient group exists to make sure that patient needs and the practice offering are always heading in the same direction.  Click here to join our PPG:PPG Registration Form

There is full disabled access into the surgery and the side door has automatic opening. Please ring the doorbell if you require assistance.

We have a hearing loop which will help to magnify the sound of the doctor’s voice through the patient’s hearing aid. Please advise the receptionist when booking your appointment.

Our reception staff are aware of the needs of those with impaired hearing or eyesight. Please inform them of any disability that you may have so that they can help you appropriately.

English not your first language?  The GP's at St Johns Surgery speak a variety of languages, however if your first language is not one of these, we have access to a Free Translation Service.  Please advise reception at the time of making your appointment,  if you wish to book a translator.
